I was raised with everything I wanted, and I hoped to give them the same, to spoil them. I cannot. My husband left two years ago, and I have been struggling to support me and the boys ever since. They are good kids and are grateful for whatever I can afford for them, but they see the difference between themselves and their friends and cousins. They hold their heads up and that, too, breaks my heart.
