She&#8217;s not old, maybe late forties. I&#8217;m a female thirty-something. I&#8217;m taking a walk, as I do; it&#8217;s a lovely day; my hands are free; and I think she may need help there. So I offer, can I help? She tells me no. &#8220;Do I look like I can&#8217;t handle this?&#8221; I say that&#8217;s not it. I just wanted to make it a shade easier for her, just wanted to help. &#8220;Well, I don&#8217;t need it.\u201d I walk away.
